BFS is a nonprofit Certification & Accreditation Body (CAB) for the fitness and movement science industry. We implement MMSx/IMSO/TE standards across certifications and provider accreditation, aligned to ISO/IEC 17024 and CPD.
We apply the following MMSx/IMSO/TE standards series:
Example mappings: S101 Fitness Trainer, S102 Yoga Trainer, S103 MMSx Trainer (family 1369). Equipment examples: S201 Bench, S202 Cable Cross, S203 Squat Rack (family 2369).
Individuals are certified against MMSx/IMSO/TE 1369 personnel standards through impartial exams and periodic renewal with CPD.

ISO/IEC 17024 governs how certification bodies assess and certify personnel. BFS implements impartiality, exam validity, surveillance, and appeals in line with this standard.
